Lloyd Goulbourne's journey as a storyteller began amidst the diverse landscapes of California and New York, but it was in the United Kingdom where his imaginative spirit truly took flight. Born at Edwards Air Force Base in California, Lloyd's early years were infused with a rich blend of influences from his family. His uncles' love for comics and Star Wars ignited his fascination with fantastical adventures, while his mother's deep appreciation for Shakespearean dramas planted the seeds of classic storytelling.

From a tender age, Lloyd devoured every piece of literature his family made available to him. As he delved into the timeless tales, he found himself drawn to create his own versions, often captivating family gatherings with his theatrical performances.

 

As he grew, the passion for crafting stories metamorphosed into a desire to write poetry, compose music, and explore philosophy. Yet, the opportunities to turn these passions into full-fledged careers eluded him. Eventually, Lloyd chose to pursue studies in technology and business management at Hofstra University.

In the financial technology sector, Lloyd's career flourished, but his passion for storytelling and poetry remained steadfast. In 2016, he took a leap of faith and released his debut novel, "WHEN A UNICORN CROSSES THE RUBICON," which garnered praise for its immersive narrative style.

 

However, storytelling wasn't his only pursuit. With his heart still captivated by poetry and a keen eye for photography, Lloyd embarked on a transformative journey down the Pacific Coast Highway. Inspired by the breathtaking scenery, he decided to combine his verses, thoughts on life, and personal snapshots into a unique collection.

 

Now, in 2023, Lloyd is poised to unveil "CHAOS," a compilation of poems, pictures, and reflections that encapsulate the essence of who he was, is, and will become. The book promises to be a captivating reflection of his life's artistic tapestry, inviting readers into the depths of his soul.
